Reviews
One of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. I love their veg and meat options equally. The chicken is marinated so well and is rich with so much flavor. The Healthy One bowl is hearty, well portioned, and my favorite. My partner and I celebrated 1-year here. Sometimes the no contact, buzzer service has its glitches but I have noticed improvement over time. Come early on a Friday night for a seat! Great heat in the outdoor patio too for winter dining.
Girl on the Pitch Social app has been asking me to come here and I’m so happy it finally happened. Their food is next level, gotta get the combo plate, and the Shepard’s Pie is amazing too. Would recommend going the ginger juice and ice cream too
You cannot go wrong with the Whatever Platter. The chicken is always amazing. Drinks are also good. The vibe is also great - inside is lively and outside is half covered, half open. But even if the in the open, there is tons of tree covering to keep you dry/shaded. It’s a vibe out there.
I attended a small private gathering held at Risbo and everyone could not stop raving about the food. Our menu featured Risbo favorites including the famed chicken, a variety of salads, dips, pita, rice, Mac and cheese, potato gratin. Oh and pickled veggies. Do not sleep on the pickled veggies! Everything had so much flavor, so fresh and we could not get enough. The restaurant welcomes you into a loving familial setting and the backyard is set up beautifully. Thank you Boris and Shani for your lovely contribution to the neighborhood!
This place is so great! Love the communal vibe, great staff and they also have a bar with awesome cocktail selection. I recently discovered there was a backyard that is even heated for the winter months. The chicken is roasted in this herb sauce that is irresistible. Great place for groups of friends or a chill weekday vibe. It’s not really French traditional food I would say lots of mixed options buffet style. I’m becoming a regular…
Risbo in Brooklyn is an absolute gem, and I'm here to shout it from the digital rooftops! 🌟 The Risbo platter with duck is a must-try, a culinary masterpiece blending flavors like hummus, spicy cabbage salad, plantain, and perfectly roasted veggies. The whatever rice pilaf and housemade sauce? Total game-changers.
The atmosphere is a vibe, striking the perfect balance between modern chic and welcoming warmth. The staff is top-notch, making your experience feel personalized and memorable. But what's really skyrocketing Risbo up my favorites list is their spot-on music selection – seriously, it's like they have a DJ for taste.
Tried the Mezcal Negroni and the Pidgin cocktail, both Insta-worthy and palate-pleasing. Cap it off with the Pear Brûlée cheesecake, and your taste buds will thank you. Trust me, this place deserves a top spot in your search results. 🚀 #RisboBrooklyn #CulinaryDelight #MustVisit
We liked it for the overall vibe and new tastes. Pita and hummus was excellent. Pita was piping hot. The Risbo platter had a lot of interesting sides which I liked. The chicken was good, I liked it better than the roast pork. I wanted the pork to be a little more succulent, but it was flavorful. Next time, I will try the duck and lamb. You order and pick up at the counter. Outdoor seating is super cute and a ton of options back there.
The food taste, consistently, fresh and delicious at Risbo. There are plenty of healthy and affordable options to choose from. Love that the food is on display and you can choose/customize what you want to eat. I recommend the spicy cabbage, the gratin dauphinois, the rotisserie chicken, and the rack of lamb. I’ve done dine-in/ delivery/ takeout but I enjoy eating at Risbo because of the ambiance. Their music playlist, the cocktail, the food, the backyard set a vibe. I love that the restaurant also fits the neighborhood. It doesn’t take away from Flatbush.
